Owner – Success In Ministry

I started ministry in August of 1976 with a group of children on a Naval base isolated from the city. The children had no place to go…and I had a lot to teach them. Soon, their parents became my helpers and my first ministry was born.

Ministry, for me, has spanned many years, many places and many people. I learned through experiences that few people are prepared for what awaits them in ministry. It has been my desire to help those who believe they are called to navigate their assignment in such a way that they do not throw away their dream when the difficult challenges present themselves.

I have functioned in the body of Christ in many roles. I have been the pastor of a church for eighteen years; a mentor and trainer of leaders for more than thirty years.

My ministry has taken me from the area of Tidewater to Mexico…and many places in between.

Success In Ministry continues to conduct workshops, leadership training  and ministry training. Under the umbrella of Success In Ministry I offer oversight to three different churches.

I am a mother of a wonderful son who has many years of experience mentoring young people. He is the father of two sons and is currently raising two foster sons.
